2010 All-State Mixed Chorus Pronunciation Files

Dear Director,

Below you will find pronunciation tracks prepared by Dr. Janet Galvan, the 2010 NH All-State Mixed Chorus conductor. Please download these tracks and create CD's for your students or direct them to this webpage.

I have had countless conversations with Dr. Galvan and her greatest concern is the level of preparation of the choral students. I have assured her that the directors will go to great lengths to be sure their students are prepared. Additionally, I have explained our re-audition process which now includes re-auditioning every choral student.

Please remind your students of the re-audition process. Re-auditions will begin as close to 5:00 PM on April 8th as possible. Students will be re-auditioned in pre-assigned octets. Any student who does not appear to be prepared will be re-auditioned again individually by me and the assistant Mixed Chorus Chairperson, Scott Lounsbury.

Finally, please be sure your students have read the entire letter sent by Dr. Galvan. This letter is in the music folders that you should have received back in mid-January, and is also posted on the All-state page. This letter is very detailed -- Dr. Galvan is expecting students to have read the letter, marked their music and rehearsed it according to her specifications.
